Welcome to the helpdesk
We can offer information, advice and guidance to voluntary of community groups who wish to make outdoor celebratory or performance events. Examples of such work might include lantern processions, carnivals, celebrations of particular community sites, buildings or anniversaries. In order to receive such support you will have to be involved in a community, voluntary or other ‘not-for-profit’ organization, and be based in Kent. This may be your first such project, or you might simply be looking for some different input into an existing event. It is our desire to help such organizations create effective and imaginative events. Support will be provided in part by our undergraduate students, who have been educated in this field, thus this project is also helping their development, and awareness of the region’s activities.

This can be a general or specific enquiry, it is designed to get communication started, after which we may continue via email or a ‘project file’ on the web, we may speak to each other by phone and it is quite likely that sooner or later we will offer a site visit, or suggest that you visit us.
Needless to say, without or without the use of the helpdesk you may use the other facilities on this site such as profile pages, archives, forums and articles.
